First Stop: Los Angeles, California

We spent six weeks in LA with our daughter, son-in-law, grandson, and Joel's nephew Daniel.

After a week of on-the-job training, Riley, Joel, and Daniel headed off to school, and the mission for Mary and George was the well-being of Theo.  That wasn't as hard as it might have been since he is a very happy guy as long as his basic needs are met.  Mary was in charge of feeding and diaper changing and George did a lot of the getting-to-sleep.  First thing in the morning, Mary and Theo had their time together, which often involved yoga.

Then it was stroller time.

George and Theo would take a long walk each weekday to the University of Southern Caliifornia, admire roosters, bunnies, fountains and  flowers, walk back to shady Raymond Avenue (a haven in sunny LA) and get a Theo nap along the way.

Then it was almost lunch time and time to take Theo to Riley's school.

We'd meet Riley on her way home after school and Riley and Joel took back over.

Mary and George have been looking at babies and missing Theo since we left LA on September16th headed for Hawaii.

On Sunday, September 23, we head to Thailand.
